Bow Wow Wow

Bow Wow Wow, formed in 1980 by Malcolm McLaren, emerged as a defining force in the new wave scene with their eclectic mix of visuals and sounds, embodied by the teenage singer Annabella Lwin. The band achieved success in the early '80s with hits like "Go Wild in the Country" and "I Want Candy," before disbanding in 1983 after releasing two albums. Despite their brief tenure, Bow Wow Wow left a lasting impact on pop culture, solidified by their reactivation for tours in the following decade.

Led by McLaren, Bow Wow Wow's provocative debut in 1980 with "C·30 C·60 C·90 Go!" set the stage for their boundary-pushing career, marked by bold visuals and infectious rhythms. Through lineup changes and label switches, the band continued to captivate audiences, culminating in their final album in 1983.
