Artist Profile Explained

A quick, plain-English guide to every card, chip, and tab you’ll see on artist pages—what each number means and how to use it.

Top Row KPI Cards

Top Brand Affinity

Shows the brand (or lifestyle category) with the strongest current audience overlap for this artist. The percentage is the artist’s affinity score for that brand.

  • Use it for: sponsorship targeting, pitch decks, and shortlists.
  • Legend: “Very Strong”, “Strong”, “Moderate”, “Low” based on internal thresholds.
  • As of: the snapshot date used to compute the score.

Social Media Followers

Combined follower count across supported platforms. The icon row shows which platforms are included for the “As of” date displayed on the card.

  • Use it for: sizing potential reach and comparing artists in a genre.
  • Tip: pair with ER (ALL) to balance reach vs. responsiveness.

Hours Airplay (Today)

Total on-air time (HH:MM:SS) the artist received today based on radio spin durations. The small timestamp indicates when this metric was last updated (UTC).

  • Use it for: tracking radio momentum alongside streaming and ER.
  • Map view: open the “Airplay Map” tab to see stations and top songs today.

Brand Fit: Affinity & Connection Strength

Brand Affinity Score (%)

Indicates how strongly an artist’s audience overlaps with a brand or category. Higher % means a greater share of the artist’s audience shows interest in that brand.

  • Example: “16% affinity with Scotiabank” = meaningful overlap with that brand’s audience.
  • Where it appears: the “Top Brand Affinity” KPI and the “Top Brand Affinities” list.
  • Good for: partner targeting and category alignment.
Top Brand: Jollibee Score: 3.56% Legend: Very Strong

Connection Strength (%)

A single, blended signal that summarizes how responsive an artist’s audience looks right now when you combine engagement and overlap. This value maps to a bucket label:

≥ 3.0% · Very Strong 2.0–2.99% · Strong 1.0–1.99% · Moderate < 1.0% · Low
  • Example: “2.31% — Strong” suggests a favorable window for branded creative.
  • Brand buttons: show the best-fit brands for quick reference in planning.

Social Audience & ER (ALL)

Followers & Platform Icons

The followers card rolls up the latest counts we have from supported platforms. Icons below the number indicate which platforms contributed to the total on that date.

  • Use it for: audience sizing and trend comparisons across artists.
  • “As of” date: the collection date for the snapshot used on the card.

ER (ALL) & Strength

ER (ALL) is an exposure-weighted engagement rate blended across platforms. Strength is a quick label derived from ER and momentum to help you scan faster.

  • Use it for: timing releases, ads, or creator drops when the audience is most responsive.
  • Pair with: brand affinity and regions to pick partners and markets.

Radio Airplay

Hours Airplay (Today)

Sum of today’s radio spin durations for the artist, shown as HH:MM:SS. The small UTC timestamp under the card shows the last update time.

  • Use it for: daily momentum checks and campaign validation.

Airplay Map & Top Songs

The Airplay Map plots stations that aired the artist today. The “Top 10 Songs” list ranks tracks by total on-air time.

  • Controls: “All Stations”, “Top Spins”, and “Low Spins” spotlight hotspots.
  • Use it for: routing promo, targeting radio outreach, spotting regional lift.

Streaming (Royalty) Tab

Streams Today

Latest daily total streams we captured across supported DSPs for the artist. A quick indicator of listening velocity.

  • Use it for: checking immediate momentum and comparing with ER or airplay.

Platform Followers (DSP)

Sum of the most recent follower counts per platform (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music), each taken at its latest available date.

  • Use it for: sizing fanbases by platform and prioritizing DSP efforts.

Scores & Career Stage

Influential • Fanbase • Trending

Three normalized scores summarizing influence, audience scale, and momentum. The chips show each score as a percentage on DMDB’s internal scale.

  • Influential: creator reach & authority.
  • Fanbase: audience size and depth.
  • Trending: current lift and recency of activity.

Career Stage

A readable label derived from multiple signals (e.g., “Superstar”, “Mainstream”, “Rising”, “Independent”), shown beside the score chips for quick context.

  • Use it for: setting expectations and comparing peers at similar stages.
