Hailing from Guadeloupe, zouk artist Slaï rose to prominence in the late '90s, establishing himself not only as a respected performer but also as a successful producer and label owner. Collaborating with Guy Bordey, Slaï co-founded BS Productions and released their debut album "Fresh" in 1997, with the hit single "Flamme" propelling him to fame in France and the French-speaking Caribbean. Slaï's subsequent releases, including his self-titled album in 2002 and "Florilège" in 2004, further solidified his market success, with the latter selling over 200,000 units.
