Biography
Born in Dongjak District, South Korea, Kim developed a passion for hip-hop at a young age and honed his English skills through watching the TV show Friends. He joined BTS in 2010 as the first member and quickly rose to fame with the group, breaking chart records in the U.S. and selling out world tours. Alongside his work with BTS, Kim continued to release solo material, including his mixtape RM and the album Mono. In 2022, he released his debut solo album, Indigo, featuring collaborations with Erykah Badu and Anderson .Paak.
