Known by his alias Puma Blue, Jacob Allen is an artist, producer, and poet celebrated for his falsetto vocals and dark, lo-fi textures that create a sensuous and haunting ambience in his music. Performing with a band of close friends, his live shows blend jazz-influenced improvisation with a vocal intensity often likened to Jeff Buckley. Puma Blue gained wider recognition with EPs like "Swum Baby" and "Blood Loss" before releasing his debut album "In Praise Of Shadows" in 2021, followed by the concert film 'A Late Night Special.'

In 2023, Puma Blue released his second album "Holy Waters," a band-focused reflection on the acceptance of death, which was highly praised. This was succeeded in 2025 by the surprise album "antichamber," featuring ambient and minimalist arrangements announced just hours before its release. Jacob Allen, also known for his collaborations with artists like Loyle Carner and Biig Piig, draws inspiration from a diverse range of musicians such as Portishead, Jeff Buckley, Burial, and Radiohead, while also engaging in poetry, filmmaking, and producing music under different monikers like Ruby Bliels. Currently based in Atlanta, Puma Blue continues to push boundaries in his musical endeavors.
