Biography
West Coast rapper Problem, also known as Jason Martin, rose from the mixtape underground to mainstream success with his hit "Like Whaaat" in 2013. Starting his career writing music for artists such as Snoop Dogg and DJ Quik, Problem later formed Diamond Lane Music and gained recognition with his appearance on E-40's hit single "Function." He continued to release mixtapes and EPs, collaborating with various artists including Lil Jon and Wiz Khalifa.
In 2013, Problem's debut EP "Understand Me" featured the viral hit "Like Whaaat," propelling him further into the spotlight. Subsequent releases included the Mollywood series and collaborations with DJ Quik on the Rosecrans EP. His full-length studio debut, "Selfish," showcased a diverse range of features including Nipsey Hussle and Ne-Yo, solidifying his position in the West Coast rap scene.
