Ondatrópica

Ondatropica, a collaborative project led by Mario Galeano and Will "Quantic" Holland, brings together a rotating ensemble of musicians ranging from 10 to 42 members. Their self-titled debut album on Soundway label showcased a fusion of genres from cumbia and salsa to hip-hop and funk. The band embarked on tours and released additional projects, exploring diverse musical influences.

In 2015, Quantic and Galeano regrouped in Bogota to work on their second album, recording in both Bogota and Providence Island. The project aimed to merge the musical creativity of urban Bogota with the regional folklore and dancehall scenes of Providence Island, reflecting the diverse cultural heritage of the Caribbean. The resulting album, Baile Bucanero, featured 35 musicians from varied backgrounds and was released in 2017 by Soundway.
