Alex Koenig, also known as Nmesh, is a Louisville-based experimental/electronic producer and drummer who transitioned from playing in metal bands in the late 90s to pursue a solo electronic project in 2002. His music incorporates a wide range of styles, often with a strong psychedelic influence. Nmesh has been featured in mixes by acclaimed platforms such as Gorilla vs. Bear, Dummy Mag, FACT, and Tiny Mix Tapes, and has received airplay on Rinse FM, BBC Radio 6, NTS Radio, and KEXP in Seattle. He has also been part of various music projects, including the now-defunct New Generation collective led by SAINT PEPSI (Skylar Spence).
