Formed in 2001, Municipal Waste, hailing from Richmond, Virginia, pay homage to '80s thrash metal and crossover with their high-energy music. Led by vocalist Tony Foresta and guitarist Ryan Waste, the band's early releases like Waste Em All (2003) set the stage for a crossover resurgence.
