Danheim, a Nordic folk/Viking inspired project by Danish producer Reidar Schæfer Olsen, draws on his 10 years of experience in electronic and ambient music to create music rooted in Nordic Folk and Viking age themes, inspired by mythology and folklore. In 2022, Danheim reached 1 billion streams across platforms and boasts 585,000 subscribers on YouTube, with his music featured in multiple seasons of the popular TV show Vikings. Reidar Olsen's deep connection to his Danish heritage led him to establish Danheim and his indie label Fimbul Records, where his passion for songwriting and dark melodies has expanded and enriched the Nordic folk genre, resonating with millions worldwide.
