Biography

Comeback Kid, a blue-collar punk band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, are known for their declamatory vocals, hyper-speed rhythm section, and riff-happy guitarists. Initially signed to Victory Records, they released Billboard-charting albums like Broadcasting and Die Knowing before moving to Nuclear Blast in 2017. The band formed in 2002 with lead singer Scott Wade and lead guitarist Andrew Neufeld of Figure Four, eventually releasing their debut album Turn It Around in 2003 and signing with Victory Records in 2004.

Under Victory Records, Comeback Kid released Wake the Dead in 2005, followed by extensive touring and line-up changes. Lead singer Wade departed in 2006, with Neufeld taking over vocal duties. The band continued to release albums like Broadcasting in 2007 and Die Knowing in 2014. They signed with Nuclear Blast in 2017, releasing Outsider in August of that year. In 2022, they released Heavy Steps and Trouble in 2024 under Sharptone Records.
