Yungeen Ace, born Keyanta Bullard, is a 20-year-old artist hailing from Jacksonville, Florida. Originally from Chicago, he moved to Duval County as a child and quickly learned to rely on himself in the challenging environment he describes as a "jungle." Ace's experiences growing up in a tough neighborhood have influenced his music and perspective on life.
In June of this year, Ace survived a tragic quadruple shooting in which he was the sole survivor, losing two friends and a brother in a drive-by ambush on Town Center Parkway. Despite being shot 8 times, Ace was released from the hospital into police custody within 24 hours. The incident served as a stark reminder of the violence prevalent in his community, casting a shadow over an otherwise positive period for the young artist.
