XG is a seven-member girl group blending Hiphop and R&B genres, composed of JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA. The group's name, "XG," represents "Xtraordinary Girls," emphasizing their aim to inspire diverse audiences through innovative music and performances. They debuted in March 2022 with the single "Tippy Toes," achieving a notable milestone by topping the Billboard "Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter" chart and becoming the first Japanese girl group featured on the cover of Billboard magazine.
In 2024, XG embarked on their inaugural world tour, "XG 1st WORLD TOUR 'The first HOWL'," visiting around 30 cities globally. Their 2nd mini-album, "AWE," released in November 2024, marked their debut on the Billboard 200 chart. Scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2025, XG will be the sole Japanese artist featured in this year's lineup.
