She gained recognition in 2012 at the age of 16 when she produced the track "Crown" for rapper Jay-Z. WondaGurl has since worked with a diverse range of artists including Drake, Rihanna, and Travis Scott. In 2016, she won the SOCAN Songwriting Prize for her work on the track "Antidote" by Travis Scott.
