Biography

Lebanese vocalist, songwriter, and musician Wael Kfoury, known as "The King of Romance," gained recognition for his ballad style. After studying music at Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik and the Conservatoire Libanais National Supérieur de Musique, he won best male vocalist on the TV show Studio el Fan in 1992. Kfoury released several albums with Lebanon's Musicbox label and won awards for his work, including "Best Male Singer." He continued to record and tour throughout the late 20th century and early 21st century, consistently achieving chart success.

From 2000 to 2007, Kfoury released multiple albums annually, all of which performed well on the charts. He maintained a busy schedule with public performances, civic engagements, and appearances in television and film. After a hiatus from the recording studio in 2010, Kfoury returned with the album "W" in 2017.
