Sivaangi Krishnakumar, an Indian playback singer, TV personality, and actor, was born on May 25, 2000 in Thodupuzha, Kerala. She began her singing career in 2009 with the song "Anbaale Azhagaagum" for the Tamil children's film Pasanga. Raised in a musically inclined family as the daughter of Kalaimamani awardees Krishnakumar and Binni Krishnakumar, she moved to Chennai as a child for her education. After a decade away from the limelight, Krishnakumar re-emerged in 2019 as a contestant on the reality singing show Super Singer 7. Her participation in the comedy cooking program Cooku With Comali further boosted her visibility, leading to accolades such as the Best Entertainer of the Year (Female) at the Blacksheep Digital Awards and the title of Most Popular Female in Reality Television at the Behindwoods Gold Icons in 2021. That same year marked her return to singing with tracks like "Asku Maaro" with composer Dharan Kumar and "Talku Lessu Worku Moreu" for the film Murungakkai Chips, along with various other film and independent songs.
