Jai Hemant "Tiger" Shroff (born on March 2, 1990 in Mumbai) is an Indian actor, martial artist, and dancer famed for his contribution to Bollywood. As the son of actor Jackie Shroff and producer Ayesha Dutt, his fate was sealed from birth; he stepped out as an actor with the romantic action flick Heropanti in 2014 and has built up a varied portfolio over the years. The following year, he picked up the Screen Award for Best Male Debut and the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Male, also receiving a nod in the same category at the 60th Filmfare Awards. That same year, he starred in the video for "Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main" with Atif Aslam, and was celebrated for his dance skills. His acting breakthrough came in 2016 when he starred in Baaghi alongside Shraddha Kapoor and Sudheer Babu, with the movie sequel landing two years later. He took on another music video role that same year, appearing in "Befikra" alongside Disha Patani, and scored one of his highest-grossing Bollywood films to date in 2019, starring in Siddharth Anand's action thriller War alongside Hrithik Roshan. The following March, he starred in the third installment of the Baaghi film series, Baaghi 3, where he was reunited with Shraddha Kapoor.
