Biography

Thom Yorke, born on October 7, 1968, in Wellingborough, England, is best known as the frontman of the band Radiohead. Yorke, who overcame a childhood eye condition, formed Radiohead in the '80s with fellow musicians in Oxford. The band gained international fame with albums like The Bends, OK Computer, and Kid A. Yorke also pursued solo projects, releasing albums such as The Eraser and collaborating with artists like PJ Harvey and Björk.

In addition to his work with Radiohead, Yorke formed the band Atoms for Peace in 2009 and released the album Amok in 2013. He continued to collaborate with various artists and released solo albums like Tomorrow's Modern Boxes in 2014 and ANIMA in 2019. Yorke also ventured into film scoring, composing the soundtrack for the 2018 film Suspiria.
