Formed in early 2016, The Panturas introduced themselves by releasing a single called ‘Fisherman’s Slut’. Their first single successfully caught everyone’s attention.
The Panturas' sailing journey have come a long way. Their beginning point starts from their first mini album, Mabuk Laut (2018) and the celebration showcase party in Bandung and Jakarta. The rest is history, sailing places to places from historic micro-gigs to major festivals in Indonesia.
Their second album, Ombak Banyu Asmara (2021) has taken The Panturas to places they have never been before. Just like ritual, they created another showcase for the new release under the name of Wahana Ombak Banyu Asmara in three cities; Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Jakarta.
