Tessellated

Producer and songwriter Joshua Meeks, more commonly known by the stage name Tessellated, has always been interested in music. He learned to play various instruments as a child, but it was at the age of 16 that he started concentrating on music more seriously, writing and mixing songs using free-to-download software and self-publishing his songs on video sharing websites. He chose the name Tessellated as his music is a fusion of various styles and he has many musical influences.

He first came to attention in 2017 with his single 'Pine and Ginger' which is a collaboration with Amindi K Fro$t and Valleyz. The song was streamed and downloaded many millions of times and became popular on various music sharing platforms. Even more popular was his single 'I Learnt Some Jazz Today' (2019) which he wrote whilst still in college. The song was chosen by Apple to advertise their product Airpods. Tessellated adapted the song for the advert, and due to its catchy nature, it immediately increased his online following. Other single releases by Tessellated include 'Searchin'' (2017) and 'Freeza' (2019).
