Biography

Los Angeles-based synth pop trio Superhumanoids was formed in 2009 by multi-instrumentalists Cameron Parkins, Sarah Chernoff, and Max St. John, who bonded over their shared passion for '80s pop and modern R&B. They released EPs Urgency and Parasite Paradise in 2010 and 2011 respectively, before signing with label Innovative Leisure. Their debut album Exhibitionists dropped in 2013, followed by their sophomore release, Do You Feel OK?, in 2015, featuring drummer Brian Henspeter and a blend of original tracks and remixes. The band continued to evolve their sound through DJ residencies and studio work, solidifying their place in the indie music scene.
