Staind, a nu-metal band from New England, was formed in 1995 and gained mainstream success in 2001 with their album Break the Cycle, featuring the hit "It's Been Awhile." After a hiatus in 2011, the band re-formed in 2019 and released Confessions of the Fallen in 2023.
