Biography

SNIPER, a French hip-hop group hailing from Val-d'Oise, was formed during the 1997 edition of the Francofolies de La Rochelle. Originally consisting of DJ Boudj and rappers Aketo, Blacko, and Tunisiano, SNIPER released three iconic albums: "Du rire aux larmes" (2001), "Gravé dans la roche" (2003), and "Trait pour trait" (2006), collectively selling over a million copies. Following these commercial successes and extensive worldwide performances, Blacko temporarily left the group. Aketo and Tunisiano then released the album "À toute épreuve" (2011) as a duo before reuniting with Blacko for the final collaborative album, "Personnalité Suspecte" (2018).

Currently operating as a duo, Aketo and Tunisiano are keeping the legacy of SNIPER alive. They continue to perform live with a new lineup, bringing back classics and introducing new tracks to audiences. Alongside their solo endeavors, they are working on a new project slated for late 2023, demonstrating their dedication to nurturing their passion and connecting with their enduring fanbase at each opportunity.
