Originating from the Bay Area roots of the West Coast music scene, Smoakland is the brainchild of Anthony Battaglia and Harrison Hays. The duo, who bonded over a shared passion for cannabis culture and dubstep, formed Smoakland in 2018 while attending Boise State University. Drawing influence from industry giants like Zeds Dead and Eptic, Smoakland's signature blend of "Old School" Dubstep pays tribute to their early love for the genre "Dirty Dutch", igniting Anthony's music production journey in 2014.
