Small Faces

Small Faces, a standout English band of the mid-'60s, were overshadowed in America by their hit single "Itchycoo Park" despite their diverse musical range and success in England. Led by Steve Marriott, the band's energetic performances and unique sound set them apart in the mod scene, leading to a string of chart-topping hits. However, conflicts with their manager and label hindered their creative growth and financial success, ultimately leading to the band's dissolution in 1969.

Following their split, members went on to pursue various musical endeavors, with Marriott forming Humble Pie and the remaining members joining forces with Rod Stewart and Ron Wood to create Faces. Small Faces' legacy endured through their innovative sound and impactful contributions to the music industry, with their catalog finding renewed appreciation through reissues and compilations in the following years.
