Biography

Emerging from Olympia, WA in 1994, Sleater-Kinney made waves with their 1997 album, Dig Me Out, listed on Rolling Stone’s “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” Their triumphant return in 2015 with No Cities To Love was widely acclaimed, leading to collaborations with St. Vincent on The Center Won’t Hold, a successful tour, and the release of their self-produced tenth album, Path of Wellness. To mark the 25th anniversary of Dig Me Out, the band enlisted a diverse lineup of artists to reinterpret the album's tracks. Sleater-Kinney will release their next album, Little Rope, produced by John Congleton, on January 19, 2024, promising a finely crafted addition to their esteemed discography.
