Skip Marley, the maternal grandson of Bob Marley, has carved out his own unique sound by blending reggae with contemporary pop, rap, and rock elements. Rising to fame after featuring on Katy Perry's hit "Chained to the Rhythm" in 2017, Skip continued to release singles showcasing his dynamic style. He made waves with chart-topping collaborations, such as "Slow Down" with H.E.R., leading up to his debut EP, Higher Place.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in Miami, Skip Marley is a self-taught musician who made his stage debut at 15 under the guidance of his uncle, Stephen Marley. After signing with Island Records, Skip's singles like "Lions" and collaborations with artists like Katy Perry and H.E.R. propelled him to international success. Opting for a singles-focused approach, Skip honed his craft with tracks like "Calm Down" and "Refugee" before releasing his debut EP in 2020, which featured collaborations with artists like Rick Ross and Ari Lennox.
