Sister Sparrow

Arleigh Kincheloe, known as Sister Sparrow, gained fame as the lead vocalist for the soul-funk band Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds before branching out into a solo career in 2018. Kincheloe co-founded the Dirty Birds in 2008, showcasing her powerful vocals and harmonica skills alongside a talented ensemble that blended soul, funk, blues, rock, and country. The group's live energy and unique sound earned them a devoted following and opportunities to tour with notable artists, leading to the release of multiple albums, including their acclaimed 2015 record, The Weather Below.

Following her success with the Dirty Birds, Kincheloe collaborated with producer Carter Matschullat on her solo debut album, Gold, released in 2018. Drawing on her R&B and soul influences, Kincheloe infused contemporary pop elements into her music, showcasing a new dimension to her artistry. Gold exemplifies Kincheloe's evolution as a musician, blending her signature brass-forward sound with soulful pop sensibilities, solidifying her status as a versatile and dynamic performer in the music industry.
