Biography

Sister Bliss, a pioneering figure in the British electronica scene, co-founded Faithless in 1995 after establishing herself as one of the first female house DJs in the UK. With a background in piano, violin, saxophone, and bass, she gained recognition for her DJ sets in clubs like Cream and Ministry of Sound. Alongside DJ Rollo Armstrong and Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss's collaboration with Faithless produced hit albums like Reverence, Sunday 8pm, and Outrospective, with tracks such as "Insomnia" becoming international club favorites.

Even after Faithless disbanded, Sister Bliss continued to DJ worldwide and compose music for various media, including films like The Beach and TV shows. She released a greatest-hits album with Faithless in 2005 and worked on projects with artists such as Example and Dido. In addition to her solo music endeavors, she relaunched Junkdog Records, featuring artists like Zebra Katz and I Said No, showcasing her ongoing influence in the music industry.
