Biography
Silver Convention, a Munich-based ensemble formed by Silvester Levay and Michael Kunze, gained fame with their disco hit "Fly Robin Fly" in 1975. The trio of vocalists - Linda Thompson, Ramona Wulf, and Penny McLean - joined the group for subsequent successes like "Get Up and Boogie (That's Right)." Despite a Eurovision Song Contest win with "Telegram" in 1976, Silver Convention's popularity waned, leading to their disbandment by the end of the decade.
