Shy Girls, the moniker of Dan Vidmar, is a Portland-based alternative-R&B artist who gained recognition in 2013 with his hit single "Under Attack" on SoundCloud. Having opened for artists like Haim and Maxwell, Vidmar released the Timeshare EP in 2013, followed by the mixtape 4WZ in 2015 and his debut album Salt in 2017. In the subsequent years, he focused on releasing singles like "Hallelujah," "Headfucked," "This Is Your World," and "Lay and Be Lonely."

Originally from State College, Pennsylvania, Dan Vidmar adopted the persona of Shy Girls upon moving to the west coast after graduating from Pennsylvania State University.
