Shankar Ehsaan Loy are the first Bollywood trio of music composers, known for blending Indian classical music, rock, acoustic pop, and electronica-fusion. They made their debut with the soundtrack for the unreleased film "Dus" and gained national recognition with the music for "Dil Chahta Hai." Their most successful work to date is the soundtrack for "Kal Ho Na Ho," which earned them a National Film Award for Best Music Direction.

With Shankar Mahadevan's Indian classical expertise, Ehsaan Noorani's rock and acoustic pop background, and Loy Mendonsa's electronica-fusion skills, the trio has established a unique and successful musical presence in the Bollywood industry.
