Semi Precious Weapons

Semi Precious Weapons is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Justin Tranter, who was inspired by artists like Courtney Love and Hole to pursue a career in rock music. After studying music at Berklee College of Music and gaining attention with his solo work, Tranter formed a full-fledged rock band with bassist Cole Whittle, drummer Dan Crean, and guitarist Aaron Lee Tasjan. The band's provocative style and high-energy sound drew the interest of industry heavyweights like producer Tony Visconti, leading to the release of their debut album, We Love You, on their own label Precious Records.

Following the success of We Love You, Semi Precious Weapons signed with Razor & Tie and later Geffen Records, releasing albums like You Love You and Aviation. The band gained further recognition by touring with pop sensation Lady Gaga and continuing to push boundaries with their flamboyant image and rebellious rock music. Their collaboration with hitmaker C. "Tricky" Stewart on Aviation solidified their place in the music industry as a fearless and dynamic force.
