Şebnem Ferah

Sebnem Ferah is a prominent figure in the Turkish modern rock scene, known for her powerful voice, heartfelt lyrics, energetic live performances, and guitar skills. Born in Yalova in 1972, Ferah developed a passion for music at a young age, forming her first band, Pegasus, during high school. In 1988, she founded the all-girl rock band Volvox, which gained attention but disbanded in 1994 without releasing an album.

Following her time with Volvox, Ferah gained recognition in the music industry and collaborated with renowned artists like Sezen Aksu. In 1996, she released her debut album "Kadin," which was well-received and led to numerous live performances. Over the years, Ferah continued to release albums, including "Artik Kisa Cumleler Kuruyorum" in 1999 and "Perdeler" in 2001, each showcasing her evolving musical style and personal experiences. Her later works, such as "Kelimeler Yetse..." in 2003 and "Can Kiriklari" in 2005, further solidified her position in the Turkish rock scene, with successful tours and collaborations with notable musicians.
