Since their formation in Sweden in 2004, Scar Symmetry has consistently pushed the boundaries of melodic death metal, culminating in the ambitious cosmic odyssey "The Singularity." After a hiatus, the band returns in 2023 with the highly anticipated second installment, "The Singularity (Phase II - Xenotaph)," showcasing a darker, more complex, and joyously progressive evolution of their sound. Guitarist Per Nilsson's visionary leadership has kept Scar Symmetry at the forefront of the metal scene, despite the nine-year gap between phases.

Following a stint with Meshuggah, Nilsson is ready to reignite Scar Symmetry and bring the dramatic events of Phase II to audiences worldwide.
