Salmonella Dub, a New Zealand band formed in 1992, gained recognition for their collaboration with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra in 2008 on the Feel the Seasons Change tour. The resulting live album, Feel the Seasons Change: Live with the NZSO, achieved Top 20 success. The band continued their musical journey with EP Freak Local and full-length Freak Controller in 2009, featuring collaborations with various artists. In 2018, they celebrated their 25th birthday with a deluxe Vinyl Boxset release. Despite facing challenges during their attempted national tour in 2022, they have completed a 22-track album with guest appearances by notable artists.
