Kölsch, also known as Rune Reilly Kølsch, is a prominent house and techno producer from Copenhagen, Denmark. He gained recognition for his work under aliases such as Artificial Funk and Enur, achieving worldwide success with the hit "Calabria 2007." Throughout the 2010s, Kölsch focused on producing for Kompakt's Speicher series and released a series of introspective albums, including his debut "1977." He founded Ipso label and collaborated with notable artists like Michael Mayer, Tiga, and Sasha, culminating in his fourth full-length album "Fabric Presents Kölsch."

Active since the mid-'90s, Kølsch has been involved in various projects and collaborations with his brother Johannes Torpe. His standout track "Calabria," initially released in 2003 as Rune, became a club favorite and later a chart-topper under the moniker Enur. Signing with Kompakt after catching Michael Mayer's attention, Kölsch delivered energetic and accessible productions like "Loreley" and albums such as "1983" and "1989." His diverse collaborations and remixes, including with WhoMadeWho and Damon Albarn, further solidified his reputation in the electronic music scene.
