Biography

Royal Tailor is a dynamic band that fuses pop, rock, R&B, and worship music, creating energetic melodies that inspire both dancing and prayer. Comprised of vocalist Tauren Wells, guitarist DJ Cox, bassist Blake Hubbard, and drummer Jarrod Ingram, the group formed in Indianapolis, Indiana during the mid-2000s at Indiana Bible College, with a mission to celebrate their Christian faith and motivate their peers. After self-releasing their EP in 2009 and touring extensively, Royal Tailor caught the attention of progressive worship band Leeland, leading to a record deal with Provident Music. Their debut album, 2011’s Black & White, featuring the hit single “Hold Me Together,” solidified their presence in the music scene, earning spots on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums and Top Independent Albums charts.
