Biography

After the breakup of Black Flag in 1987, Henry Rollins released his first solo works, eventually forming the Rollins Band for a more collaborative musical experience. The band quickly gained a following with their intense live performances and heavy rock sound, leading to a string of successful releases including 1992's The End of Silence, which propelled them into the mainstream spotlight through MTV exposure and tours like Lollapalooza.

Following lineup changes and significant success with their 1994 album Weight, the Rollins Band continued to tour extensively and release music, reaching a peak with their DreamWorks debut Come in and Burn in 1997. However, internal issues led to Rollins parting ways with his bandmates, paving the way for a new lineup featuring L.A. rockers Mother Superior and the release of their 2000 album Get Some Go Again.
