Riya

With nearly two decades in the industry, Riya, also known as Laura Hill, is recognized as one of the leading female vocalists in the drum and bass genre. She has received two D&B Arena 'Best Vocalist' awards and has collaborated with a range of prominent artists, including Etherwood, Roni Size, and Hybrid Minds, among others. Riya's music has been featured on various platforms such as BBC Radio, Apple Music, and Mixmag, and she was prominently featured in the 2020 documentary 'Drum & Bass: The Movement'.

In September 2021, Riya released her second album in collaboration with Collette Warren, supported by the PRS Foundation 'Women Make Music' Fund. The album, released on her own label Carnelian Music, received multiple nominations at the 2021 D&B Arena Awards. Following this release, she put out the 'Blame' EP produced by Whiney of Hospital Records and has continued to release singles on different labels. Riya is also known for her dynamic DJ/vocal sets, earning her a nomination for 'Best Live Act' at the D&B Arena awards and opportunities to perform globally.
