Rickey Smiley, a multi-talented entertainer from Birmingham, Alabama, rose to fame in 2000 as the host of BET's Comic View. His success in stand-up comedy and television led to a starring role in Ice Cube's Friday After Next and appearances on popular shows like Showtime at the Apollo and HBO's Def Comedy Jam.
