Ravi Basrur, an Indian film music composer, sound designer, and lyricist, is best known for his contributions to the Kannada film industry. Born on January 1, 1984, in Kundapura, he started his career as a programmer in over 62 films before gaining recognition for his work on the soundtrack of the 2014 film Ugramm. Basrur's notable projects include Ekka Saka (2015), Just Maduveli (2015), Karvva (2016), and the award-winning K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018). His musical talents earned him accolades such as the Best Music Director at the SIIMA Awards and Karnataka State Film Awards in 2019.

In 2022, the sequel to K.G.F: Chapter 1, titled K.G.F: Chapter 2, featured the popular track "Monster Song," which made its mark by entering the Malaysian Top 100 at Number 72. Apart from his film scoring endeavors, Ravi Basrur's singing prowess was also acknowledged with a SIIMA Award for Best Playback Singer in 2018.
