Biography

RATT, formed in 1982 by lead singer Stephen Pearcy and guitarist Robbin Crosby, played a significant role in the development of Hollywood's Sunset Strip sound. The band gained local popularity through performances in L.A. clubs and the release of their self-titled EP in 1983, which sold over 100,000 copies and received radio airplay.

In 1984, RATT signed with Atlantic Records and released their debut album "Out of the Cellar," which achieved triple Platinum status with hit singles like "Round & Round" and "Back for More." The band went on to sell over 15 million records in the US and became known for their energetic live performances, headlining arena tours worldwide. Today, RATT continues to perform their classic hits to audiences around the globe.
