Biography

Raekwon, a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, has made significant contributions to the group's success with his inventive and critically acclaimed solo work. Known as the Chef, Raekwon's solo career includes the classic Only Built 4 Cuban Linx and two other Top Ten albums. With a knack for storytelling and a cinematic Mafia obsession, Raekwon's collaborations with Ghostface Killah have been particularly noteworthy.

Remaining loyal to Loud Records, Raekwon's solo debut Only Built 4 Cuban Linx in 1995 achieved critical acclaim and commercial success, reaching number four on the Billboard 200. Despite mixed reviews for subsequent albums like Immobilarity, Raekwon continued to be a key figure in the Wu-Tang Clan's discography, collaborating with various artists and releasing solo projects through his Ice H2O label. His diverse discography includes collaborative efforts like Wu Massacre and Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, as well as solo releases such as Fly International Luxurious Art and The Wild.
