Rapper Pusha T, born Terrence Thornton, rose to prominence as part of the hip-hop duo Clipse alongside his brother Gene Thornton, known as Malice. The brothers gained recognition in the early '90s, collaborating with Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes and releasing acclaimed albums before taking a hiatus in 2010 to pursue solo endeavors. Pusha T signed with G.O.O.D. Music and made notable appearances on Kanye West's album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
