Biography

South Korean singer and rapper PSY rose to global fame in the early 2010s with his viral hit "Gangnam Style," which propelled him to international stardom and helped bring K-pop closer to Western audiences. Born Park Jae-Sang, he began his music career in 2001 and released several successful albums, consistently charting in Korea and the U.S. World chart. In 2019, he founded his own company, P Nation, signing a roster of artists including Dawn, Hyuna, and Heize.

PSY's ninth album, 2022's PSY 9th, marked his return to the music scene with the single "That That," featuring SUGA of BTS. While the album reached the Top 40 in Korea, it achieved his highest chart position in the U.S., peaking at number three on the Billboard World albums chart.
