Priestess

Montreal's Priestess channels the raw energy of AC/DC and Black Sabbath to create their own modern '70s rock sound. Formed in 2003 by Mikey Heppner, Mike Dyball, Vince Nudo, and Dan Watchorn, the band released their debut album, Hello Master, in late 2005 through Indica in Canada and Ace Fu in the U.S. Following a major-label deal with RCA in January 2006, Priestess embarked on a North American tour supporting Dinosaur Jr. and released a remastered version of Hello Master in June, performing alongside bands like the Riverboat Gamblers and the Bronx. Their sophomore album, Prior to the Fire, was released in the U.S. on TeePee Records in February 2010.
