Biography
Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Pity Sex blends '90s alternative rock with noise pop, indie pop, and shoegaze influences. The band, consisting of Brittany Drake, Brennan Greaves, Sean St. Charles, and Brandan Pierce, gained acclaim with their debut EP, Dark World, in 2012, followed by the well-received album Feast of Love in 2013 under Run for Cover Records. Their subsequent releases include a split EP with Adventures in 2014, featuring a cover of the Pixies' "Gigantic," and the 2016 album White Hot Moon, produced by Will Yip and released by Run for Cover. Pity Sex has toured with Ceremony and continues to evolve their signature sound.
