Beginning his career in San Jose at 14, he launched Stones Throw in 1996 to release underground hip hop music, including his own collaborations with the late rapper Charizma. Wolf has expanded his impact globally through DJing and building Stones Throw's diverse roster, featuring artists like J Dilla, Madvillain, Dam-Funk, and Sudan Archives.

A passionate vinyl collector from a young age, Peanut Butter Wolf has shaped the DJing scene and cultivated Stones Throw into a powerhouse label.
