Peach Pit has solidified their place in indie rock with their emotionally resonant and sonically rich songwriting. Since their debut in 2016, the Vancouver-based band, consisting of Neil Smith, Chris Vanderkooy, Peter Wilton, and Mikey Pascuzzi, has evolved their sound while maintaining heartfelt lyricism. Their albums, including You and Your Friends and From 2 to 3, showcased a blend of introspective lyrics and dreamy guitar arrangements, incorporating elements of psychedelia and classic pop. Magpie, their latest release, furthers this evolution with expansive arrangements and raw emotional depth, drawing from diverse musical influences and capturing the energy of their renowned live performances. Peach Pit's success extends beyond their music, as they have sold out headline shows, performed at major festivals like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, and embarked on successful tours across the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
